Mike Hickey passed away of a heart attack on July 20, 2009.

Mike was survived by his wife, Jacqueline R. Bilbrey Hickey; two sons, Zachary and Skyler Hickey; his stepfather, Sam Gagliardi; a sister and brother-in-law, Christal L. and John Fox; four brothers and a sister-in-law, Eric S. and Suzy Hickey and Sam W.G., Matt A. and Ryan G. Gagliardi; four aunts, Dawn, Darlene and Diane Romer and Kay Davidson and husband Carl; three uncles, David Romer and wife Kathy, Darrell Romer and wife Christine and Daryl Hickey and wife Debbie; eight nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, Kade and Jordan Fox, Ethan and Abby Hickey and Aiden, Avery and Brady Kelley; and three grandparents, Hillard G. and Mary Hickey and Karal A. Romer.

Michael Gordon Hickey II Thursday, Jul 23, 2009 COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Michael Gordon Hickey II, 38, of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, July 25, at 11 a.m. at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday, July 24, from 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hickey died Monday, July 20, 2009, at White County Community Hospital in Sparta.

He was born May 26, 1971, in Toledo, Ohio, to Michael Gordon Hickey and Deborah Kay Romer Gagliardi.

Mr. Hickey was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was employed at Bridgestone North America Tire Company in Morrison and was also a member of Alpha Jiu Jitsu Academy of Cookeville.

Mr. Hickey was proceeded in death by his grandfather, George Romer.

Memorial donations may be made to the Bank of Putnam County, c/o Zachary and Skyler Hickey, 1108 E. 10th Street, Cookeville, TN 38501.

Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Alpha Jiu Jitsu Academy members.
