After graduation, I went straight to college. In Dec. of 1993, I graduated with a BS in Elementary Education. I married my husband who graduated the same day with degree in Engineering on Dec. 18, 1993. In Feb. of 1994, we moved to Murfreesboro where Phil got a job. I taught for the school system until my second child was born. At that point I figured it was more economical to stay at home with the children, so I quit my job. I then proceeded to become "cookie mom", "room mom", etc. in attempt to keep up with what my little ones were doing. A couple of years ago, I decided it was time to go back to work for my own sanity. I was starting to act like a kid again, so I started teaching ESL to adults for Rutherford County Adult Education. I now teach a whopping 6 hours a week. I have also recently become the Director of Children's Ministries at my church, First Cumberland Presbyterian in the 'Boro. I spend about 6 hours at church each week. I am still very active in my children's lives. My son will start to kindergarten next school year. I will probably pick up a couple of more classes at work. At this point in time, my life is too busy to work full-time, and my husband could care less either way, so I don't see anything full-time in the near future. I like just being a Mommy!!!
